I ended up making three house calls in the Salt Lake area here in Honolulu Hawaii for a printer setup. I setup a printer of a well-known brand for an in-home computer client. He had bought the printer himself and then called me and asked me to set it up and install the software he needed to run the printer.

Two weeks later I got a call from him stating the printer was not working correctly. After my diagnostic I determined was a mechanical issue where the printer cartridges stop moving for no reason causing an error on the printer. I recommended that he returned it and to tell the electronic stores this,

“The computer guy said it's a mechanical issue.”

My in-home computer client called me about a week later with his new printer for me to set up. I asked him how it went returning the printer to the electronic store. He told me they tried to give him a hard time about it until he said that he had his own computer repair guy check it out and the computer repair guy said it was a mechanical issue. Upon hearing that they agreed to give him a refund

I got my mobile computer repair client laughing when I told him this,

“Telling the electronics store your computer guy says has the same power as saying your wife says at the grocery store.”

Have fun with your computer and printer,

Your friendly neighborhood mobile printer setup guy here on Oahu
