As most of you know, I’m a cloud fan and a Gmail fan. I’ve seen too many computer crash with important information on them not to want to do as much work as possible backed up and preferably online. When, not if, your Windows PC or Apple/Mac computer crashes, having your email in a Gmail account and files in Google Drive makes recovery SOOO much easier. I know this for a fact because I’ve seen it and done it.

So when I ran across this very clear video not only mentioning my preferences, but explaining how to setup Windows mail application I thought I’d share. The only reason to do this is if you have an email address connected to your domain name (website address) which, many years ago looked more professional than web based emails. Nowadays it’s perfectly acceptable for businesses to use a web based email such as Gmail or Outlook.
